Accessibility statement

Our commitment

Novum Analytica GmbH strives to make its website accessible to everyone — regardless of physical or technical circumstances. We orient ourselves by the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), the European standard EN 301 549, and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA.

Conformance status

This website is partially conformant with the requirements listed above. This assessment is based on a self-evaluation dated 12 July 2026. A formal review by an independent body is planned; this statement is updated after every substantial revision of the website.

Implemented measures

  • Semantic HTML with landmarks, labelled controls, a skip link and a visible keyboard focus; every function can be operated without a mouse.
  • All text colours meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 — in both colour schemes; graphical objects at least 3:1.
  • Adjustable text size up to 150 % without loss of content or function.
  • High-contrast mode (light and dark), greyscale, and a colour-vision-safe palette; information is never conveyed by colour alone.
  • Dyslexia-friendly presentation using OpenDyslexic, a typeface designed specifically for people with dyslexia (hosted locally, SIL Open Font License), plus more generous spacing.
  • Read-aloud feature: passages of text can be read aloud on click via your own device's speech output — no external services.
  • An option to reduce animations; the system setting prefers-reduced-motion is additionally respected automatically.
  • Graphics and the interactive diagram carry detailed text alternatives; status changes are announced to screen readers via live regions.
  • All fonts and scripts are served locally; the website sets no cookies and loads nothing from third-party servers.

All settings are available via the accessibility menu — the round button with the wheelchair symbol at the right edge of the screen.

Non-accessible content

  • A formal third-party WCAG review and tests with screen-reader users are still pending; individual usability problems may therefore remain undetected. Automated checks (contrast, semantics, text alternatives) run before every release.

The interactive structural diagram on the home page has a complete, equivalent text version offered to screen readers directly after the diagram.

Enforcement procedure

If you contact us and do not receive a satisfactory response, you can turn to the competent market surveillance authority. For the accessibility of services under the BFSG this is the German federal states' joint market surveillance body for the accessibility of products and services (MLBF).
